Requirements


FlexiAuction require Microsoft® Windows® to be installed on your PC. Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional SP2 or higher is recommended. Hardware requirements are the same as the requirements for the version of Windows® installed FXA uses Microsoft® SQL Server as database platform to store all information. Any PC with above platform installed can be used as a FXA datastore. If your firm already use MS SQL Server in production, you only need to create a new database. Current installation version used (as at April 2009) is MSDE 2000 It is required to install a spreadsheet en word processor on each PC. Microsoft Word/Excel is recommended, but Open Office can also be used and is free. Your computer will be installed by a consultant.

The system is developed with Borland® Delphi® 5 on the Microsoft Windows platform. MS DAC ADO is used to connect to MS SQL Server or MSDE database. Indy, Fastnet and mySQL-DAC are used for internet communications. Reports are generated and exported using the ekRTF en MxNativeExcel modules.
